Sorry J.C., but I still don't know whose work that is! Thanks for your Orpheus tale though; I'd never heard that story/theme before.

Have you discovered the artist of the Temptation of St. Anthony head floating in the delta that's labeled "artist unknown" on this page?

Visually it references Orpheus's head floating singing songs of all the heartbreak of the world after he could resist turning to see if Euridyce was following him out of Hades. But there's no lyre in the painting on this site and the references are sins of the flesh and mind rather than heartbreak.

Anyway, I'd like to know the painter.

Thanks for your comment, Eric! One of my favorite horror films of the era (although it's not Hammer) is 'Fiend Without A Face,' about mind-sucking brain creatures.

I love Hammer Horror. Been a big fan since I was a kid. My bro and I loved the Dracula and Frankenstein movies. I highly recommend some of the more obscure vampire titles such as Vampire Circus, Twins of Evil, and Kiss of the Vampire. They are very enjoyable movies and shouldn't be missed by Hammer fans even though they don't star Cushing and Lee.

The mannequin thing is a pretty interesting concept... nothing I'm surprised about coming from Boots or anything. And like Boots said... great work! It turned out cool.

Great work Dan! And this shoot was a lot of fun. I suppose not using the shots of me with the mannequins I would equate with a director not using one of his favorite scenes in a movie due to time constraints. We all loved the shots of me with those fake plastic women, but the hands on the ground shot cut through everything...
